Weekly evaluation 1

The first week of senior project lived up to its expectations. When our group was being assembled in the fall, coming up with this project was a bit difficult. As we discussed, we figured out what we wanted to do and everything that we have planned since then has being going well. We met with Marc Marchand, who works at the county jail and discussed what we will be doing. We're putting up lines and coming up with exercises for the inmates to help them stay active and make sure they are healthy.  We learned a lot about the people in the jail and that the time they get to exercise with us, is the best part of their day. So its our goal to make sure we do are good job and keep them in good health. Also,  We had the chance to go to the Concord court house with Fiona Mills and listen in on two court cases. I've never done that before and it was an interesting thing to see how the court system works. We helped Kelly with the 5k by getting students to sign up for it. It took a lot of convincing for many of the students on campus. But in the end we reached the goal of 200 sign ups by going to lunch to get them, going to dorms, and help from other people on campus. We planned a lot for our main thing of senior project and that is the 3v3 basketball tournament. There is a fee to play and the money we get from the tournament is going to a taxi fund. We had a presentation of it for assembly but weren't able to present it. We plan on doing that during the second week and get people to sign up during lunch. I think it was a pretty successful week, Planning was the big thing we needed to do and we did that. Everything is gonna start to come together and our group is ready to put in the work and raise the money. Overall, it was a fun week and I can't wait to accomplish everything goal we set for our senior project.
