Senior Project 4-30-19

During the second day of senior project we headed to The Merrimack County Jail. We finally got to meet with Marc Marchand and he showed us where we will be doing our work. We are in a small space in the jail where the inmates are able to do exercise. We have to tape or spray paint lines down for the basketball hoop and for the hand ball court. Also, come up with some exercises sizes for the inmates. We were there for an hour. After that we drove to Concord and got supplies at Dicks for our 3v3 basketball tournament. It took us an hour to do that. Then we got back to campus and wrote a proposal to Marc about the things we want to do at the jail. It was an interesting day and I look forward to doing work with Marc.

Senior project 4-29-19

Today was the first day that my senior project group and I got to work. We met with Kelly about getting sign ups and planning our 3v3 basketball tournament. We decided on the date of the tournament, the payment to play, and what resources we were going to get for that day. Then we went to lunch and got about 20 sign ups and were a step closer to reaching the goal. We did help out with sign ups before senior project, we didn't get many, so we decided to go table to table to get some and it worked out. While with Kelly we discussed how to get people to want to play in the tournament. So we are making a presentation for assembly on Friday to show everyone what's the reasoning behind it. Also, we plan on going to students dorms and getting more sign ups for the 5k tonight. Overall, It was a fun and productive day for our senior project group.
